At her address to the Kosovo Parliament's solemn session, she has said they brought with them the wait for freedom.
On June 12, 1999, when NATO forces broke into our land, they were not just soldiers, they were saviors. They brought with them the promise of freedom, the assurance that the world had not forgotten about Kosovo's people and the determination to end the atrocities committed against our people”, Osmani said.
She has said that the liberation of Kosovo was the triumph of good and evil.
Kosovo's <x0.>Calim in 1999 was not just a military victory and a chapter of Milan Serbia was above all the triumph of the human soul over tyranny, was the triumph of good against evil, and the triumph of justice over the destruction”, Osmani has been expressed.
Furthermore, she has suggested that on this day, Rugova's peaceful resistance and the heroism of Adam Jashar should be remembered.
We will always remember the persistent resistance of historic President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova for freedom, independence, democracy, as well as the powerful alliances he honoured along with many other activists whom we enjoy today. We will be reminded every day of our lives, but also of generations after us, the repeated heroism of the legendary commander Adam Yasar and the entire Jashar family, which were placing the cornerstone of freedom that we enjoy today. We will always live with the memory of all martyrs of the Kosovo Liberation Army and over 13 thousand killed during the war, among which 1113 in the last war in Kosovo alone, he has said, citing violations and disappearances in Kosovo.
In her address, she has thanked NATO soldiers for serving in Kosovo.
