Osman congratulates the first woman president in Mexico: I hope for an extended opportunity of cooperation among our countries

Claudia Shanebaum, a scientist for climate and close associate of the outgoing president, Andres Manuel Lopez, won an overwhelming majority of votes, becoming Mexico's first woman president.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has congratulated the newly elected president, hoping her presidency will provide an opportunity for co-operation with Kosovo.

“Urime President selected in her historic choice as the first woman president of Mexico. In a world facing many challenges, it is inspiring to see more women taking leadership roles. I hope her presidency will provide an opportunity for enhanced co-operation among our countries”, Osmani wrote.
