Major action against the files in Gjilan, two persons who received the victim 600 thousand euros (VIDEO) are arrested

Kosovo police, the Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime and Crime following the successful operation conducted yesterday in the region of Peja and Pristina, today on 21.06.2024 has continued with the next action at three different locations in the Gjilan region.

This police operation was realised after the enterprise of operational investigative actions in co-operation and co-ordination with the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, with the aim of identifying and arresting suspected persons involved in criminal acts “Fide and tasking”.

Two suspected persons -- one remaining in police search -- have been arrested during the investigation, and evidence has been found that suspects allegedly committed the guilty's criminal acts and the obligation they were investigated for.

The arrested persons allegedly in this case have exerted pressure and threats on the victim with the intention of taking interest in the guilty's activities, and as a result of illegal acts on suspected persons have caused material damage to the victim in the value of over 600,000 euros.

Three cars, sports engines, weapons and ammunition, Euro notes, various documents, as well as other material evidence that will be used in criminal procedure against suspects.

Kosovo police remain committed to fighting all illegal activities and bringing suspected persons' justice bodies to justice.
