The announcement was issued Friday by French President Emmanuel Macron.
He gave no details about the number and source of aircraft, while announcing that training will take place in France.
“We've always had a way of doing things, giving numbers after the weapons are delivered and used, is more effective and gives less notice to our enemies”, Macron said.
He told them while he was talking to Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris, reports CNN, broadcast Clankosova.tv.
When asked whether France will send military instructors to Ukraine, he said there is no reason for doing so.
Macron, said France would send about 20 technical experts from different ministries to Ukraine to assist Kiev's integration with European Union standards.
