More than 100 leaders, including US Vice President Kamala Harris, and EU presidents or leaders, South American countries, Middle East and Asia, will gather in Switzerland on Saturday for one of the most ambitious efforts to create a peace plan for Ukraine.
The summit comes after G7 leaders gathered in Italy and reached a new agreement on a 50 billion-euro loan to Ukraine, guaranteed through the use of unexpected profits on the assets of the Russian central bank frozen by the EU and other Western countries following Ukraine's 2022 invasion, reports The Guardian, broadcast Klonkosova.tv.
The two-day peace conference, which will be held at the luxury Burgenstock resort outside Lucerny, will discuss Kiev's proposed 10-point plan to end the war, along with three other topics -- nuclear threat, food safety and humanitarian needs in Ukraine.
Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani will also be at this summit.
