He said that as the light of freedom dawned in Kosovo, Serbia's forces were carrying out the massacre in the dark of night.
On the day of Kosovo's liberation, on the evening of June 12, 1999, five children were killed in Dardani, Pec. Members of Serbian forces broke into the rooms where children were sleeping. I gathered all the Bala family members into one room. They killed the Nita sisters and Rina (5) and 6 years old) along with Mother VIolca (28 years old). The younger brother Rroni (4year) was hiding behind his mother Vjollza”.
When the shooting started, he was allvanized. After she was awake, she went to Grandma Mahije's paralyzed room. She was hiding under her feet. Her father, Musa (31 years of age), had been kidnapped by violence. Five days later, on June 17, 1999, he was found dead, disabled by torture. On June 12th, Agoni was also killed (6 years), Dardanya (11 years old), and Hajriu (12 years old). Their mother, Halja, survived nine bullets in her body. Isa and his son Veton (8 year) (8x1> also survived, Kurti wrote.
The prime minister through a Facebook post said that no one was convicted, nor tried for this massacre, follows Klankosova.tv.
There are still traces of that night's crime in the living room. In the life of the Bala family, the traces of that massacre are eternal. Like the bullet holes in the walls of the house, open are the wounds in the heart. On this day of marking a quarter of Kosovo's liberation, we commemorate all children killed during the war in Kosovo. The open wounds of the Bala family and all families who have lost loved ones seek justice. These crimes cannot remain unpunished”.
The suffering of the people's stability cannot be forgotten. Many blood has been shed, and many lives have been given for the freedom we enjoy today. Thanks to this sacrifice, generations now grow free. They're growing up with freedom and Veton's three children. The girl bears the name of her dead aunt, Dardane. Eternal be the memory of all martyrs sacrificed for freedom”, he wrote further.
