Young people, but for Kosovo children, a big promise was given by the Vetevendosje Movement. Hich, less than 160 nests Albin Kurti, had promised during the presentation of the Vetevendosje Movement programme, that they would be realised for the government mandate, but that promise is emerging to be extremely difficult to implement, when only a few months remain until the time when the Kurti government and legally complete its four-year mandate.

Therefore, we will invest in schools and public nursery with care and quality education and free supply. Through investments at 160 nests and in adapting spaces to school institutions, inclusion in early childhood education grows from 7% to 24% for children aged 0-5 and from 38% to 64% for children aged 3-6. When this adds to increased capacities in the private sector, even greater turnout growth must be expected, Albin Kurti had said at the Kosovo Assembly during the full presentation of the government programme for 2021-2025 in February 2021.

Out of 160 nests promised by Prime Minister Kurti, only four have been laid foundation stones, until others are simply written as promises in the Vetevendosje programme.

For four years of government, only four nests of 160 were promised and a nest a year was built.

In Pristina, Gjakova, Gjilan and Fushe Kosovo are cities that have benefited from a nursery by the current government.

LDK MP and former Minister of Education, Science and Technology Hykmete Bajrami, for FrontOnline, says the Kurti Government for three years has built only three nests as long as it promised building 160.

Prime Minister Kurti's VV General Council said they have built only four 160 promised nests, after three years, only four quatrains were built.

MP Bajrami points out there is no possibility that Vetevendosje Movement's promise of building 160 nests will be completed within this governing mandate.

We know there's no theoretical possibility of ending this promise, but what's scandalous is not even beginning to come true, because 4 out of 160 is not even 5% of the promise she says.

The LDK MP considers this a surprise, and because everything Vetevendosje promised has happened.

But this is no surprise, because all that has been promised has happened their opposite.

Former Deputy Education Minister for Government's Promise of 160 Koq: Wrong Strategy to Solve This Problem

Professor and former Deputy Education Minister Xhavit Rexhaj, for FrontOnline, says that the extremely low involvement of children at the early level of education constitutes one of the weakest points and threat to further development for the future

Early education is the most sensitive issue in Kosovo's education system. The extremely low involvement of children on this level of education constitutes one of the most vulnerable points to the development of even higher levels in the future, it continues.

Meanwhile, for the Vetvendosje Movement's promise of building 160 nests, Rexhaj claims these are wrong strategies that were being used and that such promises have been made in past governments.

The strategies selected to solve this problem have not been needed for the Kosovo context. Because it's hard to promise to build 160 nests, because even from the past we've had big projects, but there's been no way of building 160 nests or schools within a governing mandate, and that was the wrong strategy.

The former deputy minister of MAHT stresses that much more is needed than has been done so far.

There is also a parallel for children in elementary schools, but this strategy has been developed sufficiently. I think this was a major lack of early childhood. There must be much more to be done than it's done so far I'm declaring it FrontOnline.

Former Labour and Social Management Minister Skender Recica, for FrontOnline, says that the actual situation shows the promise promised by the Kurti Government to build some nests in the country.

The Kurti Government's promise of building a number, which they have warned with 160 nests, is in the verse of those promises, but the actual situation is best spoken. I don't have exactly how many nests were built within the mandate, but that's not what this promise was about.

Recica says that having the majority government Kurti has been able to push it forward to improve social welfare.

I'm not going to stop by not fulfilling this promise, but I'd stop by the big promises they made about social welfare. Given that this Government has a parliamentary majority, I don't understand how it didn't push the agenda forward that would significantly change the state of citizens. He has failed to fulfill it.

Former Labour and Social Management Minister Kurti finds it untrustworthy how the government of 160 promised nests has accomplished only four.

I don't want to believe that from 160, he built only four of them, if he didn't make 10% of that promise, I don't know when he'd come to his end, Recica for FrontOnline.

The AAK MP, Shemsedin Dresey, warns grapes from political parties within this year, which he considers an election year.

This is an election year, promises are grapes from all parties.

Dress, the VV's promise of building 160 nests calls it a deceitful promise, like other promises.

Like so many promises, so does this deceitful promise.

Dress, points out that if this promise has failed to come true for three and a half years, it is impossible to do so for the next three months.

I think if for the next three and a half years the promise given is insulated to wait for three months for something like that to happen, MP Dresaj said.

Otherwise, during the 2023 budget presentation, Prime Minister Albin Kurti had said that 11 new nests, which would have to be built this year, were budgeted.
