Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has proposed to the EU's special emissary for Kosovo dialogue to Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak, to send the draft association status to the Venice Commission.
Kurti said the Association of Serb-run municipalities cannot be drawn from the package of the Bazic and the Ohrid Annex Agreement, but according to him, its full implementation is needed.
“Now you can get the Association out of the package, drop the package, and make this association an international draft test at your Constitutional Court.
I'm also pulling it out of the package, putting it as an urgent matter and saying use your Constitutional Court. You use it on the Venice Commission. Lajcak and other European emissaries, because the document is theirs and not mine”, Kurti said in A2. CNN.
While, as far as Kosovo is able to write a draft state for Association itself, Kurti said it could end up on the table of discussions on other concessions.
Whatever we're writing now, if we're dealing with the internationals that Serbia is not more important, it will end up at the table of discussion about concessions further, within the logic of the Hallamia (Palamics), where you get what you can get, to look even more into the following”.
