Krasniqi: Measures will not be taken lightly, government has not agreed with allies

The Democratic League of Kosovo MP, Rzazarta Krasniqi, has shown considerable scepticism about the possibility of removing measures against Kosovo from the European Union.
She also expressed concern that the Government of Kosovo, consistently making successive co-ordination decisions with allies, according to her, could create obstacles in the process of removing EU punitive measures.
“I hope that what Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi says, but I am sceptical that the measures will be taken because they have not agreed with international allies. The measures will not be taken lightly, as they must be approved by all 27 European Union member states. Kosovo has met the necessary conditions, but the decisions made by this government without consultation with international allies I am sceptical that it will happen”, Krasniqi has declared in an interview for the show. Krasniqi insisted that it is important that Kosovo co-ordinate its actions with international partners to ensure a common and effective approach in relations with the EU.
