Kosovo police, the Directorate for Trafficking in Narcotics, in two separate cases in Prizren and Gjilan respectively, have arrested 6 people suspected of narcotics trading.
Case one.
By the date of 05.06.2024 around 22:40, the road patrol in Prizren, the direction of Vremica, has stopped two cars with local license plates in which the car was four suspects R. V. M/k (year of birth 2002), E. D. m/k (born 1997), P. S. m/k (year of birth 2002) and D. T. m/k (year of birth 2001).
During the search of persons, various narcotics substances have been encountered, with cases of suspected persons being arrested at the scene, while material evidence from DHTN has been confiscated:
- Narcotics suspected of ecstasy, with a total weight of 3kg of 37 grams;
- Narcotics suspected of total cocaine weighing 695.98 pounds. ,
- Suspected narcotic substance of the total weight type Crack ,
- narcotics substance LSD, 154 packages;
- Narcotics cannabis Sivra in chocolate - shaped chocolates weighing 5.9 grams. ,
- One hundred thirty-eight (38) empty plastic bags,
- And money for seven thousand seven hundred eighty-eight (7788.85)
- Seven (7) mobile phones,
- Two VW-Golf cars.
The value of this narcotics substance, according to the market, is said to be over two hundred thousand Euros (2050,000).
A consultation with the state prosecutor has been conducted in several locations, while a decision on the 48-hour detention of four suspected persons has been issued by the state prosecutor.
Case 2.
By the date of 05.06.2024 around 14:30, during the implementation of the N.D.A.D.A.'s Research Directorate, in the city of Gjilan, under suspicion of narcotics trading, have been located and arrested suspected A. S. m/k and B. D. m/k they were in a car with local license plates.
In terms of material evidence in suspects have been confiscated:
- Narcotics suspected of heroin in weight at 537.8 grams. and worth about 8,000 euros,
- Narcotics suspected as total weight marijuana 3. 36 grams.,
- Two cell phones, and a car.
In terms of the case, in co-ordination with the Constitutional Prosecutor, raids have been conducted at several locations, while with the prosecutor's decision, the suspects have been sent to maintenance.
Kosovo police, the Anti-Tradic Trafficking Directorate, respectively, remain committed to combating narcotics trading.
