The Ad-Hoc Commission invites four candidates for interview for RTK board members (Emrat )

In this case, by majority of votes, four candidates were decided to call for an interview, where two of them will go to the polls.

The chairman of this Commission, Adelina Grainca, said they have accepted the applications of 5 candidates from the ranks of the Albanian community for members of RTK's board.

She said that out of 5 candidates a candidate has failed to meet the conditions required in the contest.

The candidates' applications have been processed in regular form by RTK to the Assembly. The Assembly has accepted the applications of five candidates from the Albanian community's ranks for members of the RTK board. We as commission from 5 candidates should select two candidates for the plenary session. Candidates Besa Maxhuni, Ilir Bytyqi, Bul Salihu and Fatime Busolli have met the terms, while the Kastrati Value has not met the conditions because it does not bring evidence of qualifications and evidence that is not under investigation”, she has said.

LDK MP Agim Veliu has said the candidate, who has failed to meet conditions, should not be given additional time since there has been enough time to hand over the documents.

“Four candidates have met the terms, I'm thinking we'll proceed. While the 5th candidate who hasn't met them, I don't think it's necessary to give them time after there's been enough time to meet the”, he said.

Part of the majority members agreed with Veliu's proposal.

And unlike most members, VV deputy Besim Muzaqi said the candidate who has failed to meet the conditions should be given additional time.

I think that's what we've done. However, my opinion is that you get another 24 hours of opportunity if you want to bring those documents to”, he said.

AAK MP Time Kadrijaj said the 5th candidate has not had to be put on the list at all because she has failed to meet the conditions.

She has added that candidates have had enough time to complete the applications and that it should not be given additional time.

I think that when you open the entry competition it's a timeline and it's enough to hand in the documents. If it hasn't been possible in two weeks to meet the” terms, she said.

At the end of the majority vote, the Commission decided that the candidate, who failed to meet the conditions, would not be invited for the interview process.

It was also decided at this meeting that on June 25, the meeting where candidates who will be interviewed will be interviewed about 20 minutes.
