Hezbollah's announcement has come hours after a video showing locations targeted in Israel, as concerns of a major conflict between the two enemies increase.

On Saturday, the Jama Islamiya group has announced the death of one of the commanders, Ayman Ghotmeh, saying he was killed “in the rulings of “in Kaira, in the eastern area of Beka in Lebanon.

Israel has later confirmed the conduct of the attack, saying Ghotmeh has been responsible for providing weapons to the Fajr forces, armed arm of the Jama Islamiya group, but also of the Hamas militants.

Border tensions have increased further in recent days, as the Israeli Army has said Tuesday that the plan for an offensive in Lebanon has been “approved and legitimised”.

Hezbollah's chief, Hassan Nasrallah, has responded with threats that no part of Israel will remain intact in the event of full war.

As a result of border violence has killed at least 480 people in Lebanon, most of them fighters, but among them 93 civilians, the AFP news agency has reported.

Israeli authorities have said that at least 15 soldiers and 11 civilians have been killed in the north of the state.

The Israeli military has launched military campaign to destroy Hamas, following the group's unprecedented attack on south Israeli militants on October 7th.

Some 1,200 Israelites were killed in that attack and over 240 others were taken hostage.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza states that more than 37,000 Palestinians, mainly women and children, have been killed since the start of the war. / REL/
