A 15-year-old reportedly has been beaten by several Kosovo Police members in the Drenas Sports Gymstre.

Bujar Gjona, the father of the 15-year-old, spoke about the event, who said his son was brutally beaten by police.

I was an uncle's anniversary at the time. The police took my son and brutally beat him up. We also have the recordings. They choked him and beat him. A 15-year-old is the horror of being beaten by a Kosovo police officer, it's horrible”, said Djokosova.tv.

Further, he said he went to the police to get information about the boy's arrest and beating.

I went and asked why my son was beating me, they answered me, they know. The policeman told me that maybe we could kill it all, said Djoko.

Gjoka said the case was reported to the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, but complaints were also made for them, as he said “have tried to cover each other”.

When they were IPK, they could cover each other up. The boy was released yesterday and has not slept yet for 24 hours”, he said.

In the case, the Kosovo Police Inspectorate has recommended the suspension of three police officials after suspected of criminal activity “mishandled during the exercise of official office”.

After some investigative actions in consultation with the competent IPK prosecutors in the interest of the investigation have recommended a suspension from office for three police officials who are suspected of criminal activity abuse during the exercise of official task”, the IPK report said.
