Trump repeatedly attacked Biden on his economy and foreign policy records, while Biden aimed at penal punishment for his rival and alleged attempts to overthrow the 2020 elections.
Candidates exchanged blame for inflation. Biden said the economy he inherited was partly responsible. Trump, in response, said that Biden did not inherit “almost any inflation”.
