As reported, the quake struck the country about 6:31 in the morning and is estimated to have been 14 miles [14 km] deep.
Five houses that were partially damaged by the January 1st earthquake have collapsed in the town of Wajiima, while large material damage is not reported, have been announced by Ishikawa Prefecture.
Railway operators say bullet train services Hokurik Shinkansen and Joetsu Shinkansen were temporarily suspended due to a power cut.
