Justin Timberlaki claimed there was only one Martini before being stopped by the police.

He was arrested on suspicion of running a drunk vehicle early Tuesday in the rich Hamptons area of Long Island, police said.

The pop star, identified as a 43-year-old Franklin, Tennessee, was charged and released without having to be released on bail about nine hours after his arrest.

Justin was acquitted and ordered to appear in court on 26 July, officials said.

Timberlaque was behind the wheel of a Florida-registered gray BM, when it was stopped shortly after 12:15 a.m. near Madison Street and Middle Line Highway, originally due to movement through a ban board and failure to stand on the right side of the road.

But as soon as police spoke to the singer, they said it was clear that the driver was not in the shape of driving, according to a complaint written by the village police officer Sag Harbor, Michael Arkinson.

The same tried to walk and stand on one leg without wavering or using arms to balance, the report says.
