In some places in Belgrade today, plaques with Slobodan Milosevic are being shown, under which Kosovo is written “is Serbia”. The author of these plaques is the “Nashi” movement, known for the frequent attacks on media and journalists, writes Nova.
One of the locations where the plates were spotted is on Brankoov's bridge. These plaques have emerged a day before continuing dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels, where Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia President Aleksandar Vucic will participate.
The “Nashi” movement, which has as religious legalist Ivan Ivanovic, specialises in this kind of plaque and often attacks opposition politicians and the media.
Financing the activities of this movement and printing of plaques has not been publicly recognised, and the movement has been critical of its activities against opposition and media homes.
Serbia's Constitutional Court in 2012 has rejected the proposal to ban the work of the citizens' association “Naši”.
