Car racing in Ferizaj-Stime magistrate, 24-year-old arrest

A 24-year-old has been arrested by police in Ferizaj after the same in the village of Kostare has competed with another car, risking other participants in communications at a speed of 118km an hour in the 50km restricted area.

To initial suspects C.F., it has been imposed a fine for countering, under the 400-euro road communications law, 4 negative points and the removal of a driver's license for 10 months.

“While the driver of the other Peugeot car with local license plates has left the car on the street and has fled in an unknown direction, which police are looking for. In this case, Regional Police in Ferizaj appeal to drivers to respect signs and communications rules. Such actions directly endanger their lives and other participants in communications and invite citizens to co-operate with police”, police say in the statement.
