Cana: Kurt was on the wrong side of history

Former diplomat Edon Cana has sharply criticised current powers, claiming that the leaders of this power have made no historic contribution to the country's liberation, independence and statehood.

Cana specifically mentioned Prime Minister Albin Kurti, saying that during key moments for Kosovo, he was on the wrong side of history.

The current “Liders have no historical contribution to the liberation, independence and statehood of Kosovo”, Cana said in “Dukagjin's <x3.

In fact, if we look historically, we have for example Prime Minister Kurti, who was on the wrong side of the story as a '98-99, in terms of Rambouille. In Kosovo's independence in creating an image that everything has been destroyed in 20 years in Kosovo”, Cana has added.

Cana noted that, unlike the Vetevendosje Movement, parties like the PDK and LDK have always worked for Kosovo's national interest, even though they have had political differences.

He cited the contribution of these parties during negotiations in Vienna and the post-war period, stressing that they have always acted in defense of national interests.

“The PDK, when it was in opposition, was part of a group of unity in Vienna, defending Kosovo's interests. Let us not forget that then Prime Minister Bajram Rexhepi has defended national interests. Any post-war action has had political antagonism, but not at the expense of national interests”, Cana stressed.

Cana also criticised Vetevendosje Movement for failing to co-ordinate with the Allies and to promote an anti-American discour for more than 10 years.
