And for the same, constantly has been called on by the country's institutional leaders to be removed.
That these measures negatively affected, opposition parties say.
During the week, EU high representative Josep Borrell handed over to the bloc's member states the report regarding measures imposed on Kosovo.
Positive news await from the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
The “of course we expect to have good news at last, and Kosovo remove the sanctions of the European Union, which have hit not only the country's economy, but also potential investors who have not seen Kosovo as a place to extend their investment to increase the employment and well-being of Kosovo citizens”, MEP Blerta Deliu has said.
And the LDK do not believe the measures will be removed.
“Based on the past, we have met the criteria from the European Union for leaving the measures, but you know that the final decision for the dinar, which has made an ad hoc decision, they have not agreed with our international allies, and I don't want to expect the measures not to go away, but I think it's a different impasse that Kosovo will continue the measures for reasons for decisions that they have taken without agreeing with international allies”, said MP Rhesar Krasniqi.
On the other hand, AAK MP Time Kadriy says the government has already been asked to contribute to these measures leaving.
“Another concession required to clear the measures. And look, what Kosovo is gaining in all of this scope of activity, the measures have been set, only to return to the measures, Kosovo has to make a concession, then if a concession is to be made, it has to be done for the Council of Europe, or for NATO membership or for membership in EU”, she says.
The measures against Kosovo were imposed a year ago in response to the escalation of the security situation in northern Kosovo, when Albanian mayors emerged from elections boycotted by local Serbs began their post in municipalities in the north.
