Meanwhile today in the afternoon, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell held a press conference. Besides, he also spoke about the Kurti-Vucciq meeting.
He stressed that the problem remains not to implement agreements reached so far.
I continue to try in the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo to reach an operational solution, because we already have an agreement. We have the Ohrid Agreement. The problem is that the agreements should be implemented and the parties could not implement them for one reason or another, and I think it was necessary to resume high-level meetings to know where we are, especially at a time when member states are discussing my proposal to lift sanctions on Kosovo”, Borrell has declared.
If these sanctions are lifted, I hope so. At least that's my proposal. May it be gradual but quickly. This may create a scenario in which I don't say dialogue will resume, but at least it won't be closed unexpectedly. The two leaders have not long been met within dialogue and I don't want to give up before I finish my” management.
