Beden admits that there was no good performance during the debate with Trump: I don't debate as well as I once argued

US President Joe Biden tried to calm the Democrats over his presentation during the debate with former president Donald Trump.

His reluctance during the debate and dim remarks in particular at his beginning sparked concerns even among members of his party that the 81-year-old is not ready to lead the country for another four years. After the debate, a moment of crisis was created in the Benden campaign and his presidency, as members of the Democratic Party began to think about finding the possible replacement for it, while donors and supporters alike expressed concern about his encounter with Trump.

Beden apparently accepted criticism during a Friday rally in North Carolina, saying “I did not debate as well as I once debated”.

Even before the debate, Beden's age has been a concern for voters, and Thursday evening's debate appears to reinforce these voter concerns several months before holding presidential elections.

Beden's campaign has also attempted to reduce concerns, while democrat lawmakers have acknowledged that the president had poor performance in the debate, but tried to stop discussions on his replacement as a candidate for president.

US Vice President Kamala Harris tried to convince Beden's supporters, saying that “this race will not be decided by a June” night.

Biden's media director, Michael Tyler, said there was no “nothing” internal conversation for Biden to withdraw from the race, but he acknowledged that Biden had a bad “night” during the debate.

According to the CNN and Ipso survey, which was conducted shortly after the debate, most of the debate viewers expressed the opinion that Trump had better performance than Biden.

Under the current rules of the Democratic Party, it would be difficult, if not impossible, for Biden to be replaced as the official candidate of the party without his will or the will of party officials to change regulations at the national convention held in August. / REL
