Stojkovic made comments in a link to Euronews Albania, where he said that Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic and Republika Srpska in Bosnia, Milorad Dodik, will try to change European policy in the Balkans.
He said last year's attack on Banjska in northern Kosovo is a clear indication that Serbia can organise other armed conflicts in the Balkans.
“I have the impression that Vucic expected more extremists in the EP, which go along with his policies, while it appears that the dominance will be the same. There will be no change in EP policy towards Serbia, because those changes were not strong enough. Extremists moved forward in Parliament, but the change isn't that big anyway. The EU will not change policy against Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it is impossible to change this policy.
It takes decades to change a policy, and not only one set of EP elections is enough. For the Balkans, the situation is clear, Bosnia is an independent sovereign country, Serbia as well, Albania and even Kosovo. What will change will be efforts in the Balkans to change European policy.
And there is a question, will the efforts of Vucic and peaceful Dodik be or armed conflicts. Any responsible official would say they are not crazy to organise an armed conflict. But a year ago it was an attempt at Banjska, so this situation may seem incredible, but it can happen. Today, it seems incredible that some conflicts will arise in Bosnia, but it is very likely to happen”, Stojkovic said.
