US, $150 million new military assistance to Ukraine

The United States is expected to announce a new $50m military aid package for Ukraine on Tuesday. One of the officials said the new aid would include ammunition for missile systems HIMARS) as well as other important ammunition. The same official said the package did not include crushing bombs.
Asked if part of the package would be long-range missile action known as ATA CLUE, the US official said that “for security reasons, would not enter further details”.
Tactical rockets The ATACMS can strike up to 200 miles [300 km] away, about double the distance of Ukraine's missiles.
Asked by the Voice of America on June 12th if the United States had given Ukraine other tactical missiles ATA CMS since mid-March, Chief of Chiefs of United Staff General Charles Q. Brown said that “Usington is continuing to offer them through the authority the president enjoys to provide military assistance to another crisis-related country”.
Russia has accused Ukraine of using some of the tactical missiles of this kind offered by the US during the attacks carried out this week within the Crimea region, which Russia illegally annexed in 2014, as shit-sucking the Russian region of Belgorod, which extends to the Ukrainian border.
On Monday, Russia summoned the US ambassador to Moscow to protest the use of these missiles. / VOA/
