Ymer: Kurti-Krasnici meeting gives way to elections, wrong way through the breakup of the Parliament

While speaking of the willingness of Prime Minister Kurti to go to the elections, Ymer wants to precisely determine the way he went to the polls.

He sees the dissolution of the Parliament wrong, as he thus finds Kurti's failures to be fatal to lawmakers, which he considers otherwise.

I think last night's meeting has practically made a new dimension in politics because now we're going to talk about elections every time. So last night's meeting was pretty much the way to the election. I think it's wrong to go to the elections and it's a mistake, especially that which you want from opposition parties to help this will of Kurti get to the election through the distribution of the Assembly, because I think that when you go to early elections not only this time but each time, you have to discuss why we're going to the early elections or what are the reasons why you're pushing us to go to early elections, and now if there's a reason that there's a big failure that this government has had, almost every one of them; no more of the need to talk about the international arena and so let us not talk about the recent problems that seemed to be the Council for sure, and I think that all of them should be the government's gonna be in charge of failure and then the opposition. So we can't point out the responsibility for the failures that have been in government, and in this respect I consider this to be important”.

The second “if we go to the elections three, four or five months as far as the term is up, what are we aiming to achieve. So if someone tells me that we have to stop this government because of these damage that Kosovo is causing, which is really causing it, then is it enough to stop this government five months before the mandate. If we had been in the second year of the mandate and it could have made sense”, Ymer said.

The rejection of the LDK and AAK for last night's meeting, Ymer sees it right, as the topic discussed at this dinner of legislative agenda, which falls on the parliamentary group chiefs' domain in the Parliament's Headship.

I think that the way the invitation to last night was broadcast to the public for the meeting, I think they were completely right with the two political parties, who refused because they were called there to discuss the legislative agenda. Of course, this is important that it should be discussed, but we have some more important things the prime minister has never seen fit to discuss with opposition parties”, he has declared Ymer, while criticising Kurt for not complying with opposition leaders on larger topics.

“For example, the prime minister has never called the opposition parties in consultancy before accepting Brussels' agreement, never called to discuss the draft of the Association statute of Serb majority municipalities. So these have been extremely important developments that have now become Kosovo's international commitment, since Prime Minister Kurti has accepted the agreement, and it has not been consulted with the opposition leaders, which I think had to consult. On the contrary, during all this time, especially in very important moments, Prime Minister Kurti through his party has also published videos of extraordinary insults against opposition leaders and I think that this is where he should take responsibility”, Ymer said.
