Von Croamon: Serbia has no chance to move forward without implementing obligations from Ohrid Agreement

The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Violet Von Cremon, has said that he will not make this progress of Kosovo and Serbia towards the EU, without the implementation of agreements reached so far with the European Union's mediation. Cramon has made it clear that Kosovo and Serbia have no chance of moving forward [...]
Cremon has made it clear that Kosovo and Serbia have no chance to move forward without implementing obligations from the Ohrid Agreement.
“Absolutely for Serbia is already mandatory. It's in chapter 35. Serbia has no chance of moving forward without implementing the obligations coming from the Ohrid Agreement. This applies equally to Kosovo. We've been talking about the Commission Association with the Serbian Majority”.
“I don't know about the individual obligations that come out of the Ohrid Agreement, but it's true that both sides should work on it and see the faster implementation of these obligations”, Cromon said on Kanal 10
Another Cremon estimates that the EU is favouring Serbia in its report with Kosovo, for which it has provided several examples.
If you look at how the Banjska attack is being handled, there is certainly a prejudice. So there have been measures against Kosovo following the May 2023 incident, but there are no consequences for Serbia after Banjska in September 2023. That's certainly not fair! That's why we hope that soon the measures will be removed from Kosovo”, Cromon has said.
