Turkey reconfirms Kosovo's pro-member vote in KiE

The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, hosted Turkey's Ambassador to Kosovo, Sabri Tunc Angılı, at the meeting.

According to the media announcement by the prime minister's office, it becomes known that Ambassador Angili congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on the successful vote at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and stressed Turkey's continued support of Kosovo.

He stressed the Republic of Turkey's support for the upcoming vote on the Committee of Ministers.

Prime Minister Kurti thanked the ambassador for the congratulations and full support of Turkey. On April 16th, all MPs from the Republic of Turkey voted for Kosovo membership in the Council of Europe”, the report said.

During the meeting, bilateral relations and the importance of co-operation on joint projects were discussed in the fields of economy, culture, defence and investment.

The prime minister expressed his gratitude for Turkey's continued support of the people and the state of Kosovo, especially for its role in Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.
