Texas makes decision to mark February 17th, Kosovo Independence Day

The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has met with Texas Governor Greg Abbott in the United States today.

With it, they have discussed deepening co-operation in the field of trade, and other areas of common interest to both countries.

The pleasure I met with Texas Mayor Greg Abbott, with whom we discussed deepening cooperation in the field of trade, foreign investment, agriculture, information technology, education and other areas of common interest.

Texas has become the second home for our fellow countrymen from Kosovo, offering them perspective, quality life conditions and productive business.

I thank the governor for the decision he handed me today that is honored and marked February 17th on our Independence Day in Texas”.
