The head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Group (AAK), Besnik Tahiri, has said that minimum 87 thousand citizens have left the country.
Tahiri has said those who have left the country are mostly young.
New jobs, not that we don't, but what we can understand from this prime minister's statement is that for four years, 87 thousand is the minimum of those who have abandoned Kosovo, the largest number of young people -- destructive workers.
Stop the imaginary abuse!” said Tahiri, via a Facebook post.
Tahiri's reaction comes after Prime Minister Kurti has said today that in a four-year period, 2019-2023, 87 thousand more jobs have been opened in Kosovo. He has also talked about economic and budget growth during his rule.
The head of the country's executive commented today during the presentation of the social assistance reform project by the Ministry of Finance, Labour and Transfers (MFPT).
Kurti said that job growth statistics, reducing unemployment rates, increasing the employment of women and young people, economic growth, increasing business circulation, increasing budget revenues clearly reflect the success of our government in this regard.
“From 331,742 jobs at the end of 2019, at the end of 2023, so for a four-year period, we have 419,126 jobs or over 87 thousand jobs or over 26 percent. Furthermore, from an economic growth of 1 billion euros for three years during the mandates before our government, we went to an economic growth of 1 billion euros annually with our Government. From an increase in budget revenues of 1 billion euros for more than 10 years before us, we went to a budget revenues meeting for 1 billion euros more for three years of governance”, Kurti said.
