Szunyog: Kosovo, Serbia must focus more on implementation of reached agreements

“This was a period of relative political stability with, in fact, a large number of issues related to the adoption of laws and reforms successfully implemented,” said Szunyog in an interview for Radio Gorazdeva.
He stressed that the European Union highlighted the enlargement process throughout the Western Balkans as one of the solutions to the challenges facing the region.
He learned the importance of implementing agreements reached through dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

He voiced hope that Kosovo and the region will continue to advance in European integrations and towards achieving stability, as well as that dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia will accelerate and lead to concrete results.
When asked by journalists for initiatives to improve dialogue between the two countries, he stressed:
We actually have a deal... It will be part of the upcoming possible negotiations for Kosovo membership. So, we have a deal, we have to push both sides to implement the” agreement.
Despite the agreement's existence, Szunyog expressed regret over the lack of progress in their implementation.
