Interior Affairs Minister Xhelal Svecla said Kosovo police have found a large arms arsenal allegedly belonging to Milan Radojic's terrorist group.
The “weapons that were discovered in this operation were scheduled to be used for attacks against the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, especially against the police,” he said at a news conference.
He stressed that the discovery of these weapons is a testimony to Serbia's direct involvement in efforts to destabilise Kosovo.
“From the information we have so far, it is clear that there are other persons involved except those known”.
“We will not stop offering security to all citizens of the country”, Svecla said.
This is the fifth warehouse according to Svechla they discovered within the year.
The “those who pose threats to constitutional order will answer before the law on their actions,”, he said.
Meanwhile, even though Kosovo accuses Serbia of organising and carrying out planned attacks, the Belgrade government denies any involvement.
Milan Radojic, former Serbian List deputy and suspected as organiser of these attacks, is currently believed to be staying in Serbia. An international warrant has been issued for him by INTERPOL.
The international community has repeatedly called for those involved in such attacks to be brought to justice, trying to ensure a quick and fair response to their actions.
