Svechla: Only today 29 citizens have converted illegal drivers into RKS

Interior Minister Jhelal Svecla has announced that on the first day of the three-month deadline, 29 citizens have converted drivers issued from illegal facilities to the Kosovo Republic's driver's license.
Svechla through a Facebook post has said that today the implementation of the Interior Ministry's decision, which will last three months and within that deadline, our citizens who have a driver's license of Serbian illegal structures, will have the opportunity to convert them into the driver's license of the Republic of Kosovo.
Today, 29 citizens have responded positively to the call in 9 municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo. This will be a good opportunity for our citizens to have Svechla write after the driver's license device of our Republic.
More to Minister Svecla has said that “this decision comes after the demands of our citizens from the ranks of the Serb community, as well as the Kosovo Police, in order to boost public security and address citizens' demands”.

Otherwise, days ago, the Government of Kosovo has announced that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued a decision enabling citizens to pass by the license of drivers issued by the secular Serb institutions in Kosovo, to officials issued by the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
We have long accepted your requests for making such a decision. We want to ease our citizens' daily problems, with which they face”, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said, through a Serbian-language address.
“Switching to the driving driver's license of the Republic of Kosovo allows easy and practical registration of the vehicles”, the Kosovo prime minister's office announced on Tuesday in a communique for media, in which the link was attached to Kurti's videotape.
MPB made it known that switching to driver's license The RKS does not require a review of the driver's license-profit exam, “but only application, which each citizen should hand over to the document device Centre”.
The documents that should be included in the application, according to the MPB, are ID, the original driver's license issued by Serbian authorities, the health certificate for driver's license equipment, tax payment testimony and the original driver's license issued by UNMIK or RKS “if the application is made to add categories, which is also enabled through this decision by the Ministry of Internal Affairs”.
This decision went into effect on May 9th and is valid until August 9, 2024.
