SPAK marks over 3m euros in assets of former police leader

The Special Court against Organised Crime and Corruption has seized properties of former police leader Oltian Bistri, arrested during the operation “Metamorfoza”.

Through a communiqué to the SPAK media, it suggests that the assets imposed by the former chief of Operational and his family are unwarranted by their income.

A total of 22 stores, 10 apartments, 1 site, 1 villa and a vehicle are located under the sequestro.

The total value of purchasing seized assets, according to prices set in notary contracts, is 3,091.519 Euro.

Following, at the request of the Special Prosecutor, the First Scale Special Court for Corruption and Organised Crime, with the No.19 verdict, date 03.05.2024, has established the sequencing of property owned by citizens Oltian Bistri and his family as follows:

• 18 Units (dice) + 1 Apartment, located on “Todi Shorti”, Tirana;
• The total apartment of 400 m2, the 6th floor (sixth), located at the construction complex at the intersection of Pharmacy 10, Tirana;
• The property of the type of soil, with its surface of 200 m2, the 8270 Cadastral Zone, located at “The route of Kosovars”, Tirana;
• Ground apartment 66.5 m2, located in the “complex Square 21”, on Kavaja Street, Tirana;
• No apartment. 18/C, 7th technical/8th building floor, with a surface of 73.16 m2, located at the 1st building in “Deliorgji”, on Kavaja Street, Tirana;
• The 400 m2 area, the sixth floor, located at the construction complex at the Pharmacy Cross 10, Tirana;
• Units with surface surfaces of 125 m2, on the first floor, located in the construction complex “Square 21”, on Kavaja Street, Tirana;
• The 138.3 m2 apartment, located in Selita, Tirana;
• Garage area 87.8 m2, located in Selita, Tirana;
• Apartment area 100.6 m2, on the tenth floor, located at the construction complex at the intersection of Farmia 10, Tirana;
• Units with construction surfaces of 72 m2, located at the construction complex “Square 21”, on Kavaja Street, Tirana;
• Willa A14, at the residence “Gren Valley”, Tirana;
• No apartment. 3, fourth floor, with a surface of 58.5 m2, located on the “road Vjreko Reno”, Tirana;
• No apartment. 9, second floor, covering 58.9 m2, located on the “road Vjreko Reno”, Tirana;
• Property of unit type (dyqan), with construction surfaces of 110 m2, located in the construction complex “Square 21”, on Kavaja Street, Tirana;
• The wealth of the type of apartment, with a total surface of 400 m2, the sixth floor, located at the construction complex at the intersection of Pharmacy 10, Tirana;
• The property of the type unit, with a total surface of 95 m2, on the first floor, located in the construction complex “Square 21”, on Kavaja Street, Tirana;

Bistri is a former senior State Police officer, since in recent years he has led several commissioners and local police director.

Just four days before he was arrested under the Metamorphosis operation, he was dismissed from the post of chief of Operationals, and appointed a simple specialist in the Crime Directorate.

In the fall of 2021, Olga Bistri was the most active officer in the Lezha Police, and earlier she also led the Durres Police. Also, Olga Bistri was chief of the No.2 Commissionership in Tirana.

Bistri is under investigation for “Disuse task” after downloading the SCY application ECC.
