Sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing his mother brutally in Pec

Under the trial, the same sentence will account for the time spent in custody from April 14, 2023, from now on, conform Article 35 par.1 of KPRK.
The court of accused Hyseni compared to the sentence also pronounced the measure of treating mandatory psychiatric custody in preventing the health care institution, which the measure will be held at the Forenzic Psychiatry Institute in Pristina.
Judge Husja-Rugova said the measures of compulsory treatment would be calculated in the pronounced sentence.
According to the indictment, provided by “Justice Vow”, founded on October 9, 2023 by the Founding Prosecutor in Pec, accused Urim Hyseni on April 14th 2023, at his home in Pec, has brutally deprived his mother H.H., in the circumstances of reduced mental responsibility on a substantial scale. The Actakuz says that after a dispute between the accused and the victim, for still unknown motives until they were in the foreground of the first floor of the house, the accused brutally took the victim's murder.
With this, it is accused of committing criminal vise “severe murder”, from Article 173, par.1, below 1.3 and 1.4, related to Article 18, par.2 related to par.1 of the Penal Code, where the sentence is set to prison for 10 years to life. Article 18, paragraph 2 and paragraph 1 explain that the person with reduced mental disabilities and mental ability is considered criminal, but these circumstances are taken into account by the court when deciding on the length and type of sanctions or the measure of compulsory treatment.
On April 14, 2023, Kosovo Police had confirmed that a person allegedly killed his mother in Pec. On May 11th, Hysen's detention had continued for two months.
