“In table titled “Goals and regional concerns”, organised by the “Hudson” Institute in Washington, I talked about the challenges facing Kosovo and the Balkan region and Eastern Europe today. “Responding to the many concerns in attendance, I stressed that Serbia has again turned into a real threat not only to Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, but to the whole region, noting the importance of changing the strategy of Western democracies in relation to Serbia as the strongest opponent of Western and democratic values in Europe and the necessity of confronting Serbia with the risk posed for the region but also for peace in Europe<1>, she added.
