Rhama, in Athens on Sunday Stop him, as Merkel did to Erdogan

In Greece they have not expected the insistence of Prime Minister Edi Rama to hold the May 12th meeting with Albanian immigrants living and working in the Hellen state. Following reports from the newspaper “Kathmerini” that Greek authorities had asked the government's co-workers to postpone meeting with immigrants after June 9th, not to influence the European Parliament elections, Rama reaffirmed his visit with a new post on social networks, saying: “Preses very proudly meeting with all of you, Albanians of Greece”.
Even though Rama's visit may be considered private and conform laws in power, as the Greek Foreign Ministry has been informed through diplomatic channels, it has prompted strong reactions, as it will take place on an anniversary of Fred Beler's arrest.
The visit is held at a time when Kyriakos Mitsotakis has included Himara's elected mayor on the list of 42 candidates in the race for a mandate in the European Parliament, but the Albanian side has tried to refute any link between Rama's selected date and the “Beler” case.
For this reason the deputy of the new “Democracy”, Nikitas Kaklamanis, speaking at a television studio, said that logic to expect Edi Rama as he is the leader of a country where human rights do not exist.
My “My guess is that Beler cannot stay in prison and we already welcome and let Eddie Rama speak to people who live and work in Greece. OK, no problem. Let's stop the rally. This is my position”, Greek prime minister's party deputy explained.
Kaklamanis defended his idea of not allowing the Albanian prime minister to hold a meeting with immigrants in Athens, recalling to memory the blockade that Anglea Merkel as German Chancellor has made Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Remember that Merkel did such a thing to Erdogan, who asked to go speak to the Turks in Germany before the elections. And Merkel stopped him. She told him that “not pre-election gatherings”, giving him a clear message that the party should be prevented”, he explained.
Meanwhile, Albanian rally organisers have not yet reached an official agreement on the location to be held, while “Kathmerini” claimed earlier that the municipality has revoted the rally permit, which was scheduled to be held near the Galats stadium.
These delays and rejections according to Greek media “micropolikos” have caused a frustration of Prime Minister Rama himself.
At that, according to the newspaper “Ta Nea”, Rama will be the main speaker in the event, which despite the country's non-confirmation, will be held in Galatsi, where an audience of 5,000 SP supporters are expected.
