Through a Facebook post, Ramadani commented on the recommendation for advancing Kosovo's status from observer member to associate member. He says Kosovo's road towards [...]
He says Kosovo road straight NATO should be Kosovo's main goal.
NATO's “Parliamentary Assembly is an institution independent of NATO. It serves as the bridge to advance NATO's understanding of policies in separate states. Advancing to associate status for Kosovo there is a good sign of Euro-Atlantic support, but purely symbolic. Kosovo road straight NATO should be Kosovo's main goal”, he wrote.
He emphasises this has nothing to do with NATO Parliamentary Assembly, but with the necessity for political dialogue NATO-Kosovo and not alone. New operational “NATO-Kosovo operations, invitation to the Membership Action Plan, acceptance of Kosovo's Diplomatic Representative to NATO, Partnership for Peace”, Ramadani added further.
