The discussion was also the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, where Albanian Prime Minister Rama stressed and praised British commitment towards the successful normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, but also highlighted the ongoing risk of setbacks.

We have also discussed the performance of reconciliation and co-operation processes in the region. Lord Cameron is a staunch supporter of these processes, and it is widely known that the United Kingdom has consistently expressed a particular interest in seeing the full normalisation of regional relations and seeing successfully the outcome of the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia, where there have been positive steps, but the follow-up has also been blocked in the country or continued, even the risk of turning back”, Rama said.

In addition to dialogue, Rama has mentioned an effective economic aspect in Kosovo and Albania, but also the region, as reportedly being discussed also for the Durres Pristina Railway, a project which Great Britain has expressed ready to help.

The “entered all of our bilateral co-operation plans, I would like to stress that we have talked about the involvement of Great Britain in a strategic project for Kosovo and the region, which is the Durres-Pristina Railway, which is the key element of increasing the capacities of movement in the region and beyond. Soon we open the international race for the new port of Durres. We are in discussions with NATO on the port's armed arm, as you are informed Kosovo will build a dry port in Pristina. Great Britain has expressed commitment both with financing and with expertise”, Rama said.
