Rama said reform would include guaranteeing loans for buying private buses, and therefore providing new lines to these private operators.
New lines, new buses for our citizens. Today we're starting with reforming the public transportation system. This reform will bring about: New bus fleet from January 1, 2025 More bus lines according to the needs of citizens cover more public transport routes A ticket to all lines in the city, so integrated ticket digital ticket to ticket payment. Every step of this reform has been made in close co-operation and in consultation with private bus lines operators, the European Bank for Development and Reconstruction, representatives of banks in Kosovo and others. This reform will include guaranteeing loans for buying private buses, and therefore providing new lines to these private operators”, Rama said.
