Osmani was elected president on April 4th of 2021, after previously serving as Kosovo Assembly Speaker. Osmani has been the deputy of the Kosovo Assembly in five legislatures.
She was born May 17, 1982, in Mitrovica, where she has completed her elementary and high school. University of Pristina university studies are completed at the University of Jurydical Faculty and practiced internationally at Pittsburgh University in Pennsylvania, the United States.
From 2006 to 2010, Osman was Chief of President Fatmir Sejdiu's Cabinet and High Council for Jury and International Affairs, and has represented the president in the Commission that drafted the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. She has also been on the team that represented Kosovo before the International Court of Justice in the historic case regarding Kosovo's declaration of independence.
Osman is married todon Sadriun and has two twin girls Anda Elisa Sadriou and I want Tiara Sadriu. President Osmani and her family live in Pristina.
