The municipalities in which the registration deadline is extended are: Dragashi, Pristina, Prizren, Drenasi, Fushë Kosova, Skloraj, Obilqi, Ferizaj, Shtrpca, Kacanik and Gjakova.
Following the Kosovo Statistics Agency proposal, from May 18th to May 24, 2024, registration/interviews will be conducted only by the regular staff of the Kosovo Statistics Agency, which will cover Kosovo's entire territory for cases when a family individual or economy can be identified for any reason that could not be recorded earlier”, the report said.
The government has also extended the deadline for registering the diaspora by 31 August. This was done at the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The process of population registration, family economies and residences has started on 5 April. The preliminary results of the census are expected to be published within three months.
