The case had occurred until the suspects had entered to steal from a religious object. After reaching the police patrol, the suspects had fired gunfire, leaving a police official wounded.
The police officer has been sent for treatment at Pec Hospital.
The case is being investigated as they are not reported to arrest.
“KIKIE 09.05,2024 03:56. Kosovo's male complainer has announced that suspected persons are trying to commit theft at religious sites. The police patrol has responded to the case, where suspects have fired gunfire towards the police. As a result of the shooting, a police official has been injured and sent to Peja Hospital. The case is being investigated by relevant police units”, the Kosovo Police report said.
