Montenegrin representative to the UN said the country showed a fellow “compassionate approach” to victims and sensitive themes.
He said Montenegro actively promotes peace and co-operation among nations, reports Nova.rs.
“We had remarkable communication to avoid any interpretation of the resolution. We had two proposals on the preambulary part to emphasize the individual character of crime. We have taken into account all political implications”, the Montenegrin representative said.
We remember that 8372 people were killed only during the days of July 1995 in Srebrenica. The number of victims in Bosnia has been much larger than 100,000 killed.
