Social Democrat Party Chairman Dardan Moliqaj has said the conditions for membership in the Council of Europe are related to the admission of the agreement by Prime Minister Kurti to Ohrid and that it has nothing to do with those preliminary ones.

Although feeling regret over Kosovo's non-membership in the KiE, Moliqaj declares that this has unfortunately not been done in exchange for establishing association.

Moliqaj has said that they are opposed to being established as Serbian “aulanom” as a condition for CoE membership.

“We oppose the establishment of Serbian autonomy in Kosovo for membership of the Council of Europe, but we are fully convinced that at this point we have come as a result of Kurt's actions for more than three years in dialogue. They are not conditioning us with either Thaci's agreement or the Mustafa deal, but they are conditioning us with the Ohrid agreement that Kurti has acknowledged that we are on the road to membership in international organisations should have general implementation of the agreement and are not conditioning us with a draft or otherwise, but conditioning us with the EU draft that Kurti has said yes. In a very bad way that we're not members, but on the other hand very well that we haven't taken steps towards establishment, although it's obvious that we're going to do them, only to do them, at even greater harm than later”, Moliq said. / EO
