Limaj: It is not democratic that, in <x0fe”, it is decided to go to the polls

Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has said that Prime Minister Albin Kurti's meeting “at the cafe” with the head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, where, according to him, is spoken of going to the polls is an insult to Kosovo institutions. Limaj has indicated that it is not democratic for four people to decide the fate of [...]
Limaj has indicated it is not democratic for four people to decide the fate of 120 deputies elected by the people's votes.
He has called on Kosovo Assembly deputies to gather together to dismiss Government and give the country the opportunity to go to the polls.
This is what we've seen in the last few days is what doesn't happen in democracy, it's monitoring the country's legitimate organs. You can't get two people, three people with a cup of coffee, supposedly with another agenda and an agenda like a legislative one, and four people agreed to cut off the 120 deputies who voted on the Kosovo people. That means they have offended Kosovo institutions, the Parliament, Kosovo's highest institution. That means they do not respect the highest institution, have no respect for the voter who has voted, 120 MPs have all been voted to vote by Kosovo citizens, they represent Kosovo and these four people do not represent Kosovo. There are ways that it said democratic that go towards the distribution of parliament, four people have gathered and said we are going, and we are sacking parliament. Parliament is not responsible, parliament demands accountability from the government, this is our parameters system. That parliament elects the government and controls, oversees and holds the government accountable and demands accountability from the government. What's happening today, this is what they told us so with all these debacles and all these mistakes, all these dramas that have caused the country to be left without an address, and to go and download the Kosovo Parliament”.
This place doesn't happen, and my request is for the Kosovo Parliamentary MP not to let yourself be offended by the institution and your voters. The Kosovo Parliament's MP indiscriminately must gather together to vote together and dismiss this government and give the country a chance to go to the polls. This is every other way, then it's just like I said ruining what's built up and there's something behind that smells bad that doesn't serve Kosovo democracy”, he said.
Limaj has said the situation in the country is serious in every sector and that everything has been stabilised, according to him, the current government is to blame.
The situation in Kosovo is so serious in any sector. Kosovo has been going through more difficult times since the state's establishment on all plans. We have stagnations in all fields, unfortunately for the past three years the dynamics of Kosovo's development have halted. There's been a halt, in all fields, in all sectors, if you see it there's a very serious situation. This is slowly turning into a stable and long-term state situation. And the country's stagnation is due to the majority. Unfortunately, Kosovo is in the hands of a government that has now witnessed three years that it has not been prepared for the confidence it has taken. Lack of a plan, lack of ideas, lack of vision, lack of experience, lack of framework. Of course, there is only one way out, change, change or stop this approach, this wrong course”, he said.
Limaj has said the country has been stationed in every area as a cause of poor governance, and for that he says the government should be held accountable by dismissing it.
You see today in all sectors, teachers live worse today, the health worker lives worse, the worker lives worse, the administration is completely chaotic, family baskets have doubled, has been expensive. The floods have remained, inflation has engulfed them. Lack of capital investments. Lack of investment is directed by the world. All of this is that this government has to go and be fired. And the way to change is the normal way into a democracy, someone has to take responsibility for these developments first. Who is responsible for all this today? It is the majority that is the government and that government must be held accountable for these mistakes. How it is held responsible, held either through resignation or through dismissal. The other is through the motion for distrust, on dismissal. These are the roads that are sent to change”, he said.
Limaj has indicated that Prime Minister Kurti is seeking a way of ruling that, according to him, is trying to find through other parties.
He's looking for a way of solution that warrants government. It's an amnitonated by all these scandals that's happened, and the way he can't do it himself and he's looking for allies, and unfortunately he shouldn't be given the chance to legitimize this anarchy. Who has once been critical of these actions that institutions see today is my concern. They do not respect these institutions in which they are called”, he has told EO.
