Kabashi: Minister Svechla's neighbour placed at the helm of Task Force Against Corruption

After reports of international organisations that have found evidence that there is serious corruption in local institutions, Flamur Kabashi, researchers at the IKD have confirmed that since this came, the government has had interference in the work of the Task Force Against Corruption, and this has hampered investigations into senior government officials.

But according to him, the government's war on those who are investigating it doesn't end here.

In addition, investigations into high profile cases involving ministers and deputy ministers of this government have removed another thirty police investigators for whose training foreign organisations have spent hundreds of thousands of euros.

There are 30 police investigators who have been recruited by international foreign agencies, especially from the American Embassy, who has allocated funds for their training to make the fight against public procurement violations and preventing misuse of public means. What this government is doing right now, these investigators are changing their positions and taking away their treatment classes. The cases that have been removed from these investigators are, the case of Minister Hekuran Murati, the case of Minister Elbert Krasniqi, the case of Minister Donika Grovalla, the case of Roseta Hajdari, the case of Lieburn Ali and Hysen Durmish. So these investigators have had cases of high profiles being taken and these cases have transferred to five other police investigators who are surprisingly all from the Llap region who haven't had the training they've had that 30 investigators who have been taken away and moved to other positions”, Kabashi added.
