The man who carried out a firearm attack on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico is the 71-year-old writer Yuray Cintula.

 

 

A police source has confirmed this information on Slovak portal SME.

Cintula is founder of the Duha Literary Club and member of the Slovak Writers' Association.

We remember Fico was shot after the government meeting in Handlova, about 150 kilometers northeast of Bratislava.
