President Osmani hosted Ambassador Havenier at the meeting
The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, hosted the US ambassador Jeffrey Havenier today at a regular meeting.
Recent developments in the country were the focus of discussion, with particular emphasis placed on Kosovo's path towards membership in the Council of Europe. On the other hand, President Osmani and Ambassador Havenier also discussed the voting process in four northern municipalities, with President Osmani repositing that continuing the measures is unfair and that Kosovo has met the conditions for eventually leaving them.
The meeting also discussed a series of joint achievements and projects, including the official launch of the MCC Community Programme in Kosovo, which the project is expected to transform the energy sector.
