US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Havenier has said that mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia is the desired goal at the end of the dialogue process.
But, Hovenier said mutual recognition is not expected to occur now, as he added that neither Kosovo nor Serbia will integrate into European institutions without mutual recognition.
And we believe that this is the only possible outcome. This is the position of the Biden administration for a long time”.
We talk about mutual recognition that will happen once because we don't think it will happen now. We have had the wish to happen and it must happen, and we believe that no country will truly be integrated into all European and Euro-Atlantic institutions without mutual recognition”, Havenier said in an interview for RTK.
