Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Xhavit Haliti has indicated that the findings for “serious government corruption” on the part of the US State Department are correct.
In his speech at the Kosovo Assembly session where the Kosovo report is being discussed The UN for Kosovo, Haliti, has illustrated government corruption with changing the outlook of current ministers.
I don't believe that report. The UN has made a mistake, because even the minister's eye, if you look at it, how it's coming in and how it's coming out gradually, and the outfit and the jeeps and the handing around has changed you”.
The US State Department for Kosovo report released on Monday 22 April says that there are <x0 problems with judicial independence” in Kosovo, then “serious definitions for freedom of expression and media freedom, including violence or violent threats against journalists” and also “serious government corruption”.
